Enjoyed listening to the chat this evening. It’s great that you will have Brian on next week to talk about the HPL Film Festival in Portland. I’ve gone to that every year since Andrew Migliore started it up at the 5th Avenue Cinema at PSU. Over the years the festival has given me the opportunity to meet and talk with some of my favorite authors, including Ramsey Campbell and Caitlin Kiernan, and watch lots of great and not so great films; the short films are always the highlight of the festival for me.
When Andrew stepped down as festival director a few years back, I was nervous about what was going to happen with it, but Brian seems to be doing a great job carrying on the tradition, and I am looking forward very much to this year’s festival.
