Artist Thomas Meijvogel from the Netherlands sent this to me:
Lately I’ve been finding myself having a little spare time at the glass workshop, so i decided it was time for something massive. So without further ado i present to you, the Cthulhu Candelabrum! It took me around six hours to complete, and i’m very happy with the way it turned out. On the pictures you can see the finished result, some work-in-progress pictures and a quick sketch of the idea. The entire piece is quite heavy, and stands 11.8 inches tall. Cthulhu is hollow on the inside, so halfway of making it i decided i could fill him up with lamp oil and create an oil lamp/Candelabrum combo.
Keep up the great work with your eZine!
Really amazing stuff. I’ve sent an email to Thomas to ask if he is going to sell these.
