“H. P. Lovecraft’s Letters to Robert Bloch and Others” contained discussions of several unpublished early tales by Bloch that never saw print.
We talked with Chet about collecting Lovecraftian books and memorabilia, about his work, and ended the discussion with writing advice. Then Pete Rawlik and Philip Fracassi showed us some of their limited edition and collectible Lovecraftian books, and gave us some great advice on book collecting in general.
Certainly the author of “Psycho” went on to conquer other worlds, and that is all to the good, but I believe these pulp stories already show a writer working at full power.
