A Couple of Links and a Preview of the May Issue…

Coming later today: The May issue of The Lovecraft eZine!  This issue has stories by Joseph Pulver, W.H. Pugmire, Neal Jansons, John Medaille, and David West.  I know many of you enjoyed Joseph Pulver’s story in our last issue, A Meeting on the Trail to Hot Iron; his story in the May issue is titled All The Gold and is a sequel of sorts.

So stay tuned for brand new Lovecraftian stories later today!  Until then, here are a couple of links to keep you occupied:

The Necronomicon Tradition Before Lovecraft: The Oldest Religion Known To ManIn one of our recent discussions entitled Redefining The Necronomicon Tradition, the question came up as to whether the term “Necronomicon” should be used in conjunction with Ancient Mesopotamian spirituality?

Almost Too Much Awesome in Lovecraftian ‘Dead Shadows’ Poster – Dead Shadows tells the terrifying story about a young man, Chris, whose parents were brutally killed 11 years ago – the same day that Hayley’s Comet could be seen from earth. Tonight, a new comet is going to appear and everyone in his building is getting ready for a party to celebrate the event. There’s even an apocalypse theory going around.  As the night falls, Chris starts to discover that people are acting strange – and it seems to somehow be connected to the comet. People are becoming disoriented and violent and it doesn’t take long before they start mutating into something from beyond this world. In a fight for survival, Chris has to try to escape from his building with the help from some other tenants – but will they make it out alive?
