WALKING WITH CTHULHU – A plain English 1,000-word summary of the book.  A fascinating post on a topic I had not considered until now.  Mr H.P. Lovecraft lived in the golden age of the pedestrian, and walking was one of the central activities of his life. In the mid 1920s he lived in New York City. It was the dawn of the truly modern age. Lovecraft went on many night walks in New York City. This activity can lead us to see him as an early psychogeographer. Lovecraftians have not yet seen the importance of the night walks in terms of the history of walking, or of the history of psychogeography…
