Watch ANNOTATED – Available Only Until Halloween

Earlier today I posted about the short film Annotated.  The film creator, Joe Lopez, has given me permission to post the full movie… but watch it now, because it’s only available until Halloween.  Please support Joe and Co. by commenting below and clicking ye ol’ LIKE button.

SYNOPSIS: A rare book dealer receives a strange book with a small note that reads only, “The world must know.” As he attempts to decipher the contents, he finds himself faced with deeper and darker levels of occult knowledge that chips at his sanity.

Annotated captures more Lovecraftian dread and unnameable weirdness in its nine quiet minutes than most bombastic, bloated, feature-length films that purport to do the same! I was genuinely creeped out, which is rare these days. – Mel House, director of “Closet Space” and the upcoming Lionsgate release, “Psychic Experiment”

  1. A lot of great stuff in almost nine minutes.

Great use of sound (or the lack of it). We learn more than enough about our protagonist in a minimal fashion. “Last chance” is a great and humorous final warning of things to come. Wonderful evocation of the famous Nietzsche aphorism. It’s good to see a Lovecraft story which functions well in our present.

I can think of no flaws.

Now, Mr. Lopez, please make a feature length piece!
