So, I want to try this and see if we can make it work. I’ve had several requests to have audio versions of Lovecraft eZine stories. Since I publish 4 to 5 stories a month, this would be a hardship for any one person, but my thought is to have a different person record each story. If I can get 5 audio-talented people, then every story would be covered and each person would only do one a month.
Morgan Scorpion has already agreed to take on one story per month for the ezine. Anyone else out there want to volunteer? Email me at michaeldaviswriter@gmail.com
Mike

Hey just a thought, the guys over at the H.P. Lovecraft Literary podcast, http://www.hppodcraft.com, have great talent on all the time. I especially like Andrew Leman, but just thought I’d drop the idea.

How about asking a few of the authors if they would be willing to read their own stories?

Well, being a good writer is different than being a good audio talent. Plus, it might put an undue burden on the authors.

Wow, I’m getting some very talented people volunteering; Mars Homeworld (the guy who scored LOVECRAFT: FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN), and several other voice talents so far. Nick and Mars, thanks for spreading the word.
Remember, I want to go retroactive on this — meaning, after we do the audios for the December issue, I want to do all previous issues. I can see itunes in our future…
