Discussion Sunday: Good vs. Evil in the Cthulhu Mythos, AND Lovecraftian Audio Dramas!

This coming Sunday I’ll be talking with Julie Hoverson — she’s the insane talent behind 19 Nocturne Boulevard, a collection of free Lovecraftian audio dramas.  You can listen to them at this link: 19 Nocturne Boulevard’s Lovecraftian audios.

After that, author Joe Pulver and I — and anyone else who wants to join in — will be discussing “Good vs. Evil in the Cthulhu Mythos”.  Joe and I were talking yesterday about this, and it occurred to me that it would make a fascinating topic for the video chat.

All Lovecraftians are welcome. If you wish to join the video chat, email me at

michaeldaviswriter@gmail.com

It’s easy; you just need a Google Plus account and a webcam.

OR, you can simply watch it LIVE (or the recorded version, later) by going to the Lovecraft eZine front page at 6pm EST every Sunday.

Remember: The main purpose of these Sunday video chats is to bring Lovecraftians together for great conversation. You don’t have to be an author to join us — just a fan!

Watch past video chats here.

Pass it on!

  1. 19 Nocturne Boulevard is a treasure of audio files for HP Lovecraft and other wierd fiction. I enjoy listening to professional readings of HP especially because I can enjoy the fine craftmenship of prose. Believe me when I read some of Lovecraft’s incantations, they sound dull and boring. Listening to a proper rendition of the story can take on a whole new meaning.
Audio is awesome because as I get older it is hard for me to read without getting a migraine or sleepy. Listening to these audio’s I can listen in the car, at home, on my headphones anywhere. It just opens up a whole new world. And all of these audio downloads are free, I can’t wait to explore this site more, otherwise I listen to a lot of Librovox recordings.
Thanks for the pass on this

  2. I’m looking forward to your discussion with Ms Hoverson; I followed the link to her website and have been enjoying listening to the first few podcasts in the series. It must be a lot of work putting them together, and I am very curious as to what is involved in producing them.
