Watch my video chat with Ramsey Campbell below. We discuss his new Lovecraftian novel The Last Revelation of Gla’aki, his favorite horror movies, and last but not least, his advice to aspiring horror writers.
(And remember: Now through Wednesday, get The Lovecraft eZine 2011 and 2012 megapacks FREE for your Kindle or Nook, when you buy The Last Revelation of Gla’aki.)
Many thanks to authors Joe Pulver, W.H. Pugmire, Pete Rawlik, and Rick Lai for being part of this video chat.

Ramsey does ‘mounting dread’ wonderfully / most effective for that to me was Laugh of the Dark

I recently had the (mis?)fortune of reading through Campbell’s exchange with Nickolaus Pacione on the latter’s blog… What a patient, gracious man Campbell is. His composure alone makes me want to meet the man face-to-face one day. Not to mention that his story “The Decorations” is still one of the most surprisingly chilling I’ve ever encountered.

That was a great interview with one of the best writers I have ever encountered. If anybody perusing the comments has not read “Demons by Daylight,” you should do so immediately. “The Franklyn Paragraphs” is a whopper Lovecraftian story.
Thanks for the interview, Mike. Keep up the great work!
