“At a Glance” NecronomiCon 2013 Panel Schedule, Movie Schedule

Courtesy of Niels Hobbs!  This information IS on the NecronomiCon website, but it’s available below in an easy to read, “at a glance” spreadsheet.  If you’re going to NecronomiCon, you might want to bookmark this page.

(By the way: If you CAN’T make it to the convention, take heart: I’ll be posting constant updates, pictures, and video for you, and I’ll try to make it the next best thing to being there.  I’ll post them here at the website, on the Facebook page, on Twitter, and on the Youtube channel.  For example, Jason Brock is interviewing Stuart Gordon — I’ll have video of that, of the Cthulhu Prayer Breakfast, and much more.  So you might want to follow/like/subscribe to all of those.)

First, here is a very handy spreadsheet of the NecronomiCon Panels SCHEDULE (days, times, locations).

Next, here is a PDF list of the movies being screened at the NecronomiCon convention, with details and schedule.

Finally, here are links to detailed information on the Panels and who will be on them: Thursday PanelsFriday PanelsSaturday PanelsSunday Panels.

By the way, NecronomiCon organizer Niels Hobbs will be on the Lovecraft eZine Video Chat this coming Sunday at 6:00pm Eastern time (5pm Central, 3pm Pacific).  We’re going to chat about the convention, and Niels will answer any questions you have.  If there are any questions you’d like me to pass on to him, email them to me at lovecraftezine@gmail.com .  Watch the video chat LIVE here, 6pm ET Sunday.

If you’re curious about which panels I’ll be on, here they are:

“Writing Mythos Fiction Today” – Friday, 10:30am – 11:45am, Thurber Ballroom, Hotel Providence
How difficult, or easy, is it to write Mythos fiction today?  What does the Mythos mean to new writers and how do they approach it?  (Joe Pulver, Peter Rawlik, Wilum Pugmire, Jonathan Thomas, Mike Davis, C.J. Henderson, Laird Barron)

“HPL Online” – Friday, 2:30pm – 3:45pm, Thurber Ballroom, Hotel Providence
Lovecraft lives online!  We examine some of the most important HPL websites as well as discuss HPL’s presence in social media. (Alex Houston, Mike Davis, Leeman Kessler/HPL, Chad Fifer)

“The Cthulhu Mythos” – Saturday, 1:00pm – 2:30pm, Thurber Ballroom, Hotel Providence
Arguably one of Lovecraft’s most powerful and enduring creations but just what is the Cthulhu Mythos?  What beings belong to it?  What stories are Mythos and which are not?  And why, 70 years after Lovecraft’s death, do writers still feel compelled to add to it? (Will Murray, Bob Price, Mike Davis, Tom Lynch, Cody Goodfellow)

See you all on Sunday at the video chat — and then at NecronomiCon in one week!
