Christopher Yost, a Lovecraft eZine reader, emailed to let me know that The Resurrected is now free to watch on Youtube. I like this movie — there’s a bit of cheese, but overall I think it’s a pretty good adaptation.
Watch it while you can, you never know when it’ll be taken down (You can also purchase the movie here). If it’s not okay to keep it on Youtube, they let the user know and they remove it.

When I first saw this movie, I couldn’t believe how good it was for the budget. Certainly one of the better Lovecraft adaptations!

Thanks Mike. I really enjoyed this movie. Not too cheesy. A very mild cheddar. Definitely not Gorgonzola.

As film adaptations of HPL go, this one is at the high end of the scale, especially when allowances for date of production and involvement of a major studio (although memory wants to put an Orion brand at the beginning rather than ol’ Leo). It’s one I regularly recommend.
