Short but sweet! I’ve enjoyed the few different versions of this story to different degrees. I’m giving this one 5 out of 5 rightful stars; 1. Good look to the film including the lighting, film stock, setting and color template. 2. Well cast actors who were spot on for their parts (unlike most big budgeted films these days). 3. Atmosphere mixed with discomfort and unease fully at play here. 4. FX were some of the better I’ve seen for a short film, especially when compared to other Lovecraftian adaptations. 5. Music was appropriate and well done, neither distracting nor pretentious like so many big-budgeted affairs and short films.
