Highly anticipated, the upcoming Lovecraftian novel Reanimators by Pete Rawlik has a firm release date of August 27th, 2013, though it may make it into stores a little earlier. However, the astute amongst you will note this date is after Necronomicon-Providence, and means that retailers won’t be able to stock the book in time for the convention.

Not one to be fenced in by little things like time, space, and corporate schedules, the author has made sure that 75 copies of the book will be available at the convention. These will be sold starting on Friday August 23rd starting at 12:15 at the Lovecraft eZine promotions table. The cost of each book will be $15 and a portion of each sale will be donated to support the eZine.

Pete Rawlik will be available to personalize copies of Reanimators and any other books you might have accidently bought. These include Future Lovecraft, Dead But Dreaming 2, Fungi 21, Techno-Goth Cthulhu, Urban Cthulhu, Worlds of Cthulhu, Horror for the Holidays, and several volumes of Tales of the Shadowmen. Show up with a copy of Mountains of Madness and get a very special inscription.

Necronomicon is shaping up to be one of the finest Lovecraftian events of the past several years, and this special sneak release of Reanimators is just another reason to make sure you are there.
