Nothing official happened yesterday at the HPLFF, just to clarify; but one of the best parts of a convention like this is seeing other Lovecraftians, and friends I have made over the years!
And remember, the Film Festival isn’t just a film festival; it’s also a convention. There are panels, gaming, the “artist alley”, and much more. But as I said, the best part is interacting with other Lovecraft fans.
Brian and Gwen Callahan run the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and CthulhuCon, and they are doing a wonderful job. They take very good care of the guests, too, and so do their volunteers. Volunteer Bob picked us up from the airport (along with artist Mike Dubisch, who was on the plane from Phoenix):
And last night, my wife and I were at a party with Joe Pulver and others. Here he is, holding the latest issue of Lovecraft eZine (the “King in Yellow” issue that he edited):
Tonight, we’ll be at the VIP party. Keep an eye on the Lovecraft eZine Facebook page tonight!
Joe in America! How cool is that? Nice little video — thanks.
