Today’s show topics: Lovecraft awards, a new Lovecraft short film, and more

Join us for another edition of The Lovecraft eZine Talk Show! We’ll be discussing multiple topics: Panelist Rick Lai‘s recent Robert E. Howard Foundation award nomination for his article The Secret Son of Bran Mak Morn. In Rick’s words, the article “deals with Worms of the Earth, an occult detective series by Jack Mann, Arthur Machen‘s Little People stories and the legends of fairies under the Earth. Ironically, some of this material ties into Robert Levy’s The Glittering World.”

Other topics, suggested by Matthew Carpenter: “There is a new issue of Fungi from Yuggoth with cool illustrations; what about Rick’s award as a springboard to discuss the feasibility of Lovecraft awards; we can go over the anticipated releases for the next 6 months, including movies and graphic novels; I am reading Salome’s new book (Cthulhu Lies Dreaming) and can give a minireview; status update of Autumn Cthulhu and the results of the Kickstarter.”

We’ll also discuss the new Lovecraft short film from Chris Lackey and friends available to watch on Youtube: The Ordeal of Randolph Carter.

Watch the show LIVE at 6:00pm Eastern time (5pm Central, 3pm Pacific), at this link (or above).
