“The Brain Hack”: a short film with some Lovecraftian / King in Yellow overtones (free to watch)!

Here’s a wonderful short film with some Lovecraftian and King in Yellow overtones.  The Brain Hack has won several awards, including Best Short Film at the British Horror Film Festival.  The film is 19 minutes long and well worth your time!

Synopsis: Two students create a short-cut to induce hallucinogenic visions of God, and find themselves hunted by a deadly religious sect.

Watch the film below.  Written, directed, and edited by Joseph White.  For more about the film, visit The Brain Hack website.

  1. Reblogged this on Netherworld and commented:
Adrenaline rushed and broke the defense mechanism…I have found darkness and silence at the end. Brilliant and superlative idea. It’s a amazing work of vision and intelligence.
